UPDATE

I have been away for a while. I was busy with some other things. For example:
#1: My new job! I work 30hours a week with kids and it is creative so very nice!!
#2: My very sweet, and cute boyfriend.
#3: Making some new things for Branch New by Mo.
#4: Selling my bags at Studio Stikstof

A few weeks ago the girls from Studio Stikstof contacted me about my handmade designs. They own a small shop/workspace at ROTABS style center in Rotterdam. They wanted to sell some of my bags in their store.
Last saturday I visited Studio Stikstof and left nine of my bags at the store.
They are now for sell at Studio Stikstof!!

They also sell lots of other work from different designers. So if you are visiting Rotterdam you have to viit ROTABS style center.

small update

Hey!

It is a bit quiet around here but I am still alive! I am working on some other things. Soon I hope I have some new items for the shop.

Recently I also opened a MadeByMo Dawanda store! I will slowly add more items.

Still searching for the right job and that is very hard! =(

New wristlets in the shop!!

Hello!!

I am doing very well! Still don't have a fulltime job but I hope I'll find one soon =)
A few weeks ago I entered a giveaway from The little Fox and I won!! a beautiful print of the painting 'the great escape'. She makes very nice paintings! You can visit her shop here.

I also added some new wristlets to my Etsy shop! Tomorrow morning I will add some more =)

Craftymarkt, shop update

Last sunday I participated in the Plastique Fantastique craftymarkt at Surinameplein at Amsterdam. It was beautiful weather. There were a lot of other activities too. This was my first craftymarkt and it went very well. I got a lot of compliments. I sold my Branch New stuff and also other work I made before. Soon I will add some products to my shop and etsy shop that did not sell on the craftymarkt.
My crafty neighbour was very nice! Michelle Kuipers from vriendelijkemonsters.nl She bought the first item. A brooch and wore it the whole day =).

Young Masters at Auction was a success - giveaway

Yesterday the Young Masters at Auction took place in Amsterdam. And for me and for lots of other artists it was a great success. I Sold two of the three designs.

I went there with my friend Lara. First we went inside for a quick look. After that we went for a fast lunch because within an our the action would start.
At our lunch we looked through the catalogue. It was funny to see my work in the catalogue between such great and different artists.

I am very happy that two of my bags were sold for a beautiful price =)

Now I am off to work. Within two weeks I will participate at the Plastique fantastique craftymarkt and I want to make a few new things =)

Going to..

I am going to take a little break, a holiday break :p I am going to relax in Spain. I'll be back in September. I have a few things up in September. First is the Young Masters at Auction the 3,4,5 and 6th of august at Prins Hendrikkade 33 at Amsterdam. You can find my work and work from other artists in the catalogue here.
The real auction is on the 6th of august from 15:00.

I am also going to fix some little job things.
And Don't forget to go to the Plastique Fantastique Craftymarkt the 20th of september. You can see my work and also the work of lots of other artists. You'll receive a goodiebag if you spend 10euro at any shop! On the picture you see some of mine. I also made two sewing jars for the craftymarkt. It is all about recycling so I recycled some soupjars and made them into sewing jars. You can put your sewing supplies in the jar and collect your pins on the pincushion on top of it.
In the meantime you can visit my shop and Etsy shop. All items will ship after the 3th of august because of my vacation.

YAY!! I got an Etsy shop!! I finally managed to open one. I only have a few items to sell because I am going on vacation next week and the 20th of september I am participating in the Plastique Fantastique Crafty Markt at Amsterdam (NL)

Last week I decided to participate in the Young Masters at Auction 2009 (ongekend.nu) This is an auction for new/young artists. The work will be exhibited for four days in several places in Amsterdam and on the last day the visitors can buy the work by offering the highest bid. You can see me here

things I have been doing

What a week. I have a lot of projects going on in my creative space. I have won the fabric of the week contest and I am still very excited. I ordered the five yards of fabric and I hope it will be here this/next week. I ordered two new patterns =)
I have also made a few new things for the shop. Some brooches, bags and I am working on some pouches/clutches. (I have to make some good photo's of the new bags) I am planning to participate in a crafty markt in September so I am also making a few cute packages.

My sister got a new mobile phone so I made her a branch new phone case. See the picture.

I will add the new items this week.

Birthday

Last weekend I turned 24 and had some little partys. I got very cool presents. For my graduation/birthday I got a new camera. I wanted a small one wich I can carry every day with me to shoot the beautiful things around me on a photo.

I also got an external hard drive. I wanted that for so long because my laptop is getting fuller and fuller and I can't afford a computer crash! So I backed up all my documents and photo's. I made a firm case for the drive from sky leather and a felt helicopter sewn on it (see picture) (I also designed some new fabric with helicopters hope to some soon)

The picture of the butterfly is made with my new camera. I think it is realy beautiful!!
